Privacy Policy
This policy explains, in plain English, what information Uptime AI Automation collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" mean Uptime AI Automation, a sole proprietorship owned by Jimmie Hill and based in South Texas.
Information we collect
- When you email us or use a contact form: your name, email address, business name, phone number (if you give it), and whatever you write in your message.
- When you call our demo line: the demo line is answered by an AI assistant, which tells you it is an AI. We record and transcribe demo calls. We keep your phone number, the time and length of the call, the recording and transcript, and the details you share on the call. The demo uses a fictional sample business.
- When we work for a client business: information the client gives us to set up their service, and information from calls to the client's line that our AI assistant answers (such as caller number, recording, transcript, message, and booking details). We handle that information on the client's behalf.
- Website: this website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or other tracking tools. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
How we use information
- To reply to your questions, scope and quote work, and provide customer support.
- To run demo calls and to test, maintain, secure, and improve our services.
- For client businesses: to answer their calls, take messages, book appointments, and pass messages and bookings to that business.
- To keep business records and records of consent, and to meet legal requirements.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With the client business you called, so it can serve you.
- With service providers that run our systems for us, such as our email, phone, voice AI, calendar, automation, and website hosting providers. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, clients, or others.
Text messages (SMS)
We do not currently send text messages to callers or customers. If we offer text messages in the future, we will text only people who have opted in, and these rules apply:
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep information
- Call recordings and transcripts (including demo calls): up to 12 months, unless a client business asks us to delete them sooner or the law requires otherwise.
- Consent records (for example, a record that you agreed to be contacted, and any opt-out requests): up to 5 years, so we can show consent was given and honor opt-outs.
- Emails and business records: as long as needed to provide the service and keep normal business records.
How we protect information
We use reputable service providers, access controls, and the least access needed to do the job. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and fix problems quickly.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Email us at jimmie@uptimeaiautomation.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. If your information came from a call to one of our client businesses, we may also pass your request to that business.
Children
Our services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
